Zometa (zoledronic acid injection) is manufactured and sold by the pharmaceutical giant, Novartis. Zometa is one of a group or class of drugs known as bisphosphonates, and it is formulated as a prevention and/or treatment for osteoporosis in both men and women of varying ages.
