    The College of the State Bar of Texas  recognizes a lawyer who maintains and enhances their professional skills and the quality of their service to the public by significant voluntary participation in continuing legal education programs. Only about eight percent (8%) of the attorneys in Texas are able to meet or exceed the requirements for membership in the College.

  3. What is the American Board of Professional Liability Attorneys?

    The American Board of Professional Liability Attorneys  is accredited by the American Bar Association to certify attorneys with special expertise in areas involving professional negligence. An attorney must have substantially engaged in litigation of professional liability claims and passed a written as well as an oral examination administered by the Board.

  4. What is the National Board of Trial Advocacy?

    The National Board of Trial Advocacy  is an organization accredited by the American Bar Association to certify an attorney in the specialty areas of civil and criminal trial law. Today there are only about 1,600 attorneys across the country who have been accredited by the National Board of Trial Advocacy in civil trial advocacy.

    The National College of Advocacy is the professional education arm of the  American Association for Justice .
