Sean W. Hester is Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial
Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization . He is licensed to practice law in all Texas state courts and the Eastern and Northern Districts of the United States District Courts. Sean also received a Certificate of Service To the Court from the Wes tern District of the United States District Court. Further, Sean is licensed to practice before the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal. Sean received a Bachelors in Business Administration (B.B.A.) from the University of Oklahoma with high honors in 1989. He then attended Baylor University Law School where he earned his Doctorate of Jurisprudence (J.D.) in 1992. While at Baylor, Sean was selected to join Phi Delta Phi, an honorary legal fraternity established to promote a higher standard of professional ethics. Sean is a member of the College of the State Bar of Texas , a honorary society chartered by the Supreme Court of Texas.
Sean practiced law as a solo practitioner representing injured
people for many years before joining the law firm of Roberts
and Roberts. In addition to trying lawsuits, Sean has handled
several appeals. As a member of the State
Bar of Texas , Sean served on the Federal Judicial Relations
Committee. He is also a member of the Smith County Bar Association
and the Texas
Trial Lawyers Association.
Sean was born on May 19, 1968. He is married and is the father of two children. He is an active outdoorsman and spends much of his free time in the outdoors with his children. Sean has been very involved in the community where he has served as a board member of the Tyler Jaycees , chairman of the United Way Walk America for Tyler, a board chairman at his church, and a member of Leadership Tyler. Additionally, Sean earned his Competent Toastmaster designation from Toasmasters International , an international group for developing public speaking and leadership skills.
